Purpose Statement:

The specific purpose of this organization is to establish scholastic chess programs and events that provide youth chess instruction, chess tournaments, and scholastic scholarships. We aim to introduce the fundamentals of chess to as many school-aged youth in Ohio and surrounding communities as possible. Our programs will use the game of chess as a tool to increase higher-level thinking skills, advance math and reading skills, and build self-confidence.
